Neighborhood Committees


Landscape Committee

The Landscape Committee contracts a local lawn and garden service to maintain our common grounds and front entrance work with BrightRidge to ensure our neighborhood streetlights work properly. The Committee also maintains our front entrance Christmas wreaths.

Social Committee

The Social Committee is responsible for organizing special social events in the neighborhood throughout the year. Historically events have included:

  • Annual Yard Sale
  • Blood Drives
  • 4th of July Parade and Party
  • Christmas Party
  • Childrens events
    • Annual Easter Egg Hunt
    • School’s out celebration
    • Childrens Christmas Party

Events will be added to the SF Neighborhood calendar and communicated via the board email (board@strawberryfield.org) and posted on the Strawberry Field Neighborhood Connection Facebook Page.

The Facilities Committee

The Facilities Committee is responsible for the mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance of the HOA Common areas, Clubhouse and Pool including:

  • contracting a pool service company to maintain our pool
  • ensuring compliance with all city codes in respect to annual inspections and proper permits

Architectural Review Committee

The Architectural Review Committee (ARC) is responsible for reviewing new home building plans, and since most of the lots have been developed, they are responsible for reviewing any improvements to existing homes. The ARC provides a recommendation to the HOA Board that holds the final decision for approval. Please contact the ARC before starting any home improvement projects.

The following requests are common to the Architectural Review Committee:

  • House plans
  • Retaining wall designs and materials
  • Approval of satellite dish antenna placement
  • Fence design and materials
  • Home additions

Clubhouse/Pool Scheduling Committee

This committee is responsible for scheduling the Clubhouse/Pool for special events (this Committee maintains the SF Neighborhood calendar) and ensuring that the Clubhouse is properly cleaned by a contracted cleaning service. More Clubhouse & Pool information is posted on the SF Neighborhood website.

Tennis Committee

The Tennis Committee is responsible for upkeep and maintenance of our tennis court.

Election Committee

Our Election Committee is responsible for contacting the homeowners to solicit volunteers willing to serve as Board of Governor Members for a 3-year period. Depending on the number of open positions and volunteers, this committee will run an election providing voting ballots, assist with ballot counting, and report the election winners.

Welcome Committee

The Welcome Committee is responsible for welcoming new homeowners to the neighborhood, providing a Neighborhood Directory form, and giving new neighbors a Clubhouse key for access to the Clubhouse, Pool, and Tennis Court.

Facebook Committee

The Facebook Committee maintains the Strawberry Field Neighborhood Connection Facebook Page.

IT Committee

The IT Committee is responsible for overseeing and managing the technological and communication needs of the HOA board. Key Responsibilities:

  • Email Communications Management: Manage the board’s email account, facilitating communications to and from the board, and providing general IT support to board members and officers for effective collaboration. 
  • Member Contact Information and Neighborhood Directory: Maintain and update the master contact information for HOA members in collaboration with the Welcoming Committee. Update and distribute the neighborhood directory as membership changes occur.
  • Website Content Updates: Update the HOA website content to reflect changes approved by the board, ensuring accurate and timely information is available to members.
  • Hosting and Microsoft 365 Environment Management: Oversee the website hosting account and manage the MS 365 environment, including email, MS Teams for meetings, MS Forms, and MS OneDrive, to ensure seamless operation, accessibility and information security.
